Italian World War 2

  • A nice  MVSN (Milizia Volontaria per la Sicurezza Nazionale) grouping consisiting of a Facist Campaign medal, two March on Rome medals both maker marked "FM Lioroli & Castelli Milano", a MVSN 10 years Long Service medal, a Mutilato per la Rivoluzione (Wounded for the Revolution) enameled badge which is maker marked "Castelli Cerosa Milano Roma" and numbered 870, two enemaled lapel badges for Volunteers who participated in taken power in October 1922, one is maker marked "Castelli Cerosa Milano" the other "L.A. Picchiani Firenze", 2 Dolorando Ardo enameled badges with two bars denoting wounded in action. With this grouping came 45 original period photos all measuring 11,7cm by 17 cm many showing an Officer with the same three medals grouping configuration. These photos are showing him and others parading and in front of the Exhibition of the Fascist Revolution (Mostra Della Rivoluzione Fascista). This grouping was obtained from a dealer who told they came from a family here in Montreal, Canada but unfortunately I was not able to get a name. Also obtained with this grouping a postcard showing Mussolini, 8 photos (postcard size) all of a ceremony held in Nurimburg 9-17 Lugio XVII, a nice photo measuring 11cm by 17cm of him and other Officers in uniform. All are in vg.+ $ 950.00
